We were very happy to have Chris join the Ajax Animal Hospital team in 2017 (after having worked as a relief tech with us in previous years). He is an experienced, skilled and calming addition to our team. His years of experience since graduation in 2001 from Seneca College come from both companion animal, exotic pets and emergency practice and he enjoys all aspects but is especially interested in helping clients improve the comfort and health of their pets. Chris has a special interest in Rehabilitation Therapy and is now a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant (CCRA, Canine Rehabilitation Institute, June 2018) and with this knowledge he has increased his ability to help pets at Ajax Animal Rehabilitation. He is skilled in assisting with UnderWater Treadmill training, Therapeutic Exercise sessions and is also certified to provide Therapeutic Laser Treatments.
Chris and his partner, Shelley, are pet-parents to a number of special rescue animals. They are pug-addicts and in 2021, Mystique the little black pug found her forever home with them. They also love their cat Rocco and Stu the Angora rabbit. Chris loves fishing and being outside, playing squash and he also enjoys music and attending live concerts when he can!
